Celebrating a Decade of Innovation in Patient Engagement

Patient Enrollment Advisors is proud to help lead the 10th Annual Participant Engagement Award (PEA), presented annually at the SCOPE Summit by the Cambridge Healthtech Institute's SCOPE.

Launched in 2016, this award honors the legacy of Jerry Matczak, whose vision for better communication and engagement with clinical trial participants continues to inspire the industry. Each year, the award recognizes outstanding creativity and innovation in how we connect with patients across recruitment and retention — from bold awareness campaigns to new tools that improve access, understanding, and trust.

We are honored to co-found and continue to support this program, which highlights the organizations, agencies, sites, and patient groups that are transforming the way clinical trials engage participants. Submissions for the 2026 award are open until September 22, 2025, and finalists will be featured live at the SCOPE Summit in Orlando, Florida, February 2–5, 2026.
